As a student, I have used microsoft to write a whole lot of essays for my english classes, lab reports for my chemistry classes, and a lot of research papers for other science classes. It's crazy how there's so many formats to write in, and it's hard to learn sometimes. For my lab reports it was a great resource because theres options to put in graphs, tables, and charts.
My teachers have used microsoft word to issue us assignments in the form of documentation, and as a way to educate the students on how to use microsoft word.
As a teacher I will most likely use microsoft word in the same manner as all my teachers so far have, mainly just issueing documentation that will be helpful to my students, I will also try my best to educate my students on different techniques of using microsoft word.
So far in this class I have learned to capture screenshots and zip folders, these were brand new to me, never knew about them. The zipped folder action will be especially useful in sending information to fellow teachers in compliance with sharing manners of educating our students together, which makes our job easier. Screenshots will be helpful if I widsh to issue my students a picture of my computer screen for any reason that arises.

Why Computers are important
Computers are important in some classroom settings, elementary, middle, and high school education should rely on hands-on instruction most of time, and prepare students to understand technology by the time they leave for college. In college and university settings, technology dominates and has the ability to teach hundreds of students at one time in a very efficient manner.
when I arrive in the classroom to instruct students, I will be at the high school level teaching chemistry and physical education. Chemistry is a very hands-on subject. Whenever using a computer it will be to mainly show visuals on reactions, or to give a powerpoint on a chapter, however most of the time ion a chemistry class the instructor covers certain topics and methods mainly using analytical techniques. Computers are essential when writing up lab reports.
In this class I want to learn how to be more fast and efficient on computers, I never really used a computer for anything other than getting information or pictures for a class. i'm taking three education classes this semester so I hope it all goes well.

Introduction
My name is Angelo Lupardo, I'm from West Palm Beach and have been at FSU since Summer Term 2007. I started out majoring in Chemistry, now I want to teach Chemistry at the high school level. Some of my hobbies include running, fishing, exercising, and hanging out with my friends. I like dogs, I'm interested in cars and motorcycles, and I like to have fun and relax. I've had a few interesting experiences, been to the Appalachian mountains a few times - cant wait to go back, college has been an experience in itself, and not to mention last New Year's.
